Resume AI ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our resume job-prediction service.

By using Resume AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Resume Data — Zero Retention Policy

🔒 We do not store, retain, or share your resume.

Your resume is processed entirely in-memory to generate a prediction score. The moment your result is delivered, your resume data is permanently discarded from our systems. It is never written to a database, cloud storage, or any persistent medium.

Our commitments:

  • No storage: Your resume is never saved to our servers.
  • No sharing: Your resume is never sold, rented, or disclosed to recruiters, employers, advertisers, or any third parties.
  • No training use: Your resume is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve our models without your explicit written consent.
  • No indexing: Your resume is never indexed, catalogued, or made searchable in any way.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the Service:

3a. Account Information (Google Sign-In)

When you authenticate via Google OAuth 2.0, we receive the following from Google:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your Google profile picture (if available)
  • A unique Google user identifier

This information is used solely to create and manage your account session. We do not access any other Google services or data on your behalf.

3b. Usage Data

We may collect anonymized, non-personally-identifiable usage data such as prediction request counts, general performance metrics, and error logs. This data contains no resume content and cannot be traced back to an individual user.

4. Google OAuth 2.0 Integration

Resume AI's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, regarding Google user data:

  • We request only the scopes openid, email, and profile.
  • We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google services.
  • We do not share your Google account data with third parties except as required to operate the Service (e.g., session management).
  • We do not use Google account data for advertising or to serve ads.
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless you grant explicit permission or it is required for security purposes.
  • You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account Permissions page.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information only to:

  • Authenticate and identify your account session.
  • Process your resume and return your prediction result (data is not retained).
  • Communicate with you about your account if necessary.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure in-memory processing to protect your information during transmission and use. Since we do not persist your resume, there is no stored resume data that can be breached.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Services

Resume AI may use trusted third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., cloud hosting, authentication). These providers are bound by data processing agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Google's handling of your data during sign-in is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Children's Privacy

Resume AI is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Revoke Google OAuth access at any time.
  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Opt out of any non-essential communications.
